Salzburg’s exceptional musical heritage encompasses the hometown of Mozart and more latterly as the location of The Sound of Music. Coupled with its friendly atmosphere and compact size, this makes the city an ideal destination for choir groups. Our trip includes both indoor and outdoor performances, all of which are sure to attract a welcoming audience of music-loving locals. We can also arrange for your programme to be publicised in the city’s calendar of events ahead of your visit, as well as obtain a wonderful souvenir certificate signed by the Mayor of Salzburg to commemorate your performances.
Suggested School Trip Itinerary
Day 1 Morning flight from UK to Salzburg. Afternoon visit to the Old Town of Salzburg and performance in Salzburg Cathedral
Day 2 The House of Mozart’s birth, the iconic Fortress Hohensalzburg, and performances in the Mozartplatz and the Mirabell Gardens
Day 3 Visit to and performance in The Hellbrunn Palace & Gardens, and the Salt Mines of Hallein
Day 4 Visit to Mondsee and afternoon return flight to UK
