WWI: Western Front Discovery
One of our First World War School Trips
Our suggested overview of the major sites in both Belgium and Northern France.
The visible remnants of the war itself, from trenches to tunnels to shell craters, bring a real perspective to the conditions and experiences of the men who lived, fought and died there; men who in many cases were not much older than your students are today.
Your guide will help your group tread a path through the battlefields themselves as well as the highly emotive military cemeteries and commemorative monuments and locations both around Ypres and in the Somme, and providing a unique narrative thread throughout.
