The beautiful coastal city of La Rochelle is a perfect setting for students to practice their French and relax in the sea air. The French text book Tricolore is set in the City of Rochelle and the famous Fort Boyard ( of TV fame ) is a small boat ride way.La Rochelle's main feature is the "Vieux Port" ("Old Harbour"), which is at the heart of the city, picturesque and lined with seafood restaurants. The city walls are open to an evening promenade. The old town has been well preserved.

Suggested School Trip Itinerary
Suggested 4 day Tour going by Rail.
Day 1 . Leave school for mid morning departure by Eurostar from London St Pancras-Paris. Cross Paris for mid afternoon TGV to Futuroscope. Check in for evening meal and enjoy an evenings entertainment in the park!
Day 2 - A full day in The Futuroscope theme park!
Day 3 - A days visit to La Rochelle or another day in Futuroscope.
Day 4 - Leave Futuroscope for return journey TGV and Eurostar to the UK.
Other tours including Flight and Coach travel are available on request.
